Video for CD-ROMS and DVD
2007 seems to be the year of the DVD. They're still falling on price: single layer blanks almost equaling CDs on volume over 1000 units. Dual layer DVDs (and burners) have been released allowing huge amounts of video - e.g. a school prospectus- to live on one disk.
Recent advances in software development mean DVD’s can now do far more than simply play videos.
Training titles with a qualifying questionnaire can promote better learning and retention. Games can promote your products in the consumer’s sitting room. Configurators allow the viewer to configure their personalised product right on the TV screen in real time! All this can be produced to work on a standard DVD set-top player and in most domestic computers – PCs and MACs.
Use this DVD to encourage the viewer to enter a qualifying code online and you have a very powerful tool to data capture valuable information about you audience. For example this could be confirmation of successfully completed distance learning or a valuable mailing list of prospective customers. Shoot You can identify and supply the best mix of the above from creating the DVD through to the providing you with online access to the valuable data you are capturing.
Please contact Quint Boa to talk about how DVD can be used and see examples of past projects. Our client base includes: Tesco Corporate and Social Responsibility, Glasgow College of Food and Technology, Carling Beer, Hewlett Packard, Hillingdon PCT, Unilever Finance, Chime Communications, Pfizer, National Magazines and of course an increasing number of school prospectuses.
